It's official, we’re now over 20 years old!

It was September of 1999 when Jason Livie, Marco Ponton, Martin Bertrand, and Philippe Tremblay created Quadra Knowledge as a highly-skilled UNIX consulting team. (By the way, if you did not know, the "Quadra" in our name comes from the "four" founders.) We were originally pretty much dedicated to the IBM ecosystem at the time. We had top-notch AIX skills which made us an ideal IBM pSeries partner involved in high end and robust solution implementations for clients in both Canada and France.

Throughout the years, the industry shifted more and more toward open technologies and we adapted our service offering accordingly. Today, although we sometimes still reminisce about AIX, we're big fans of open-source and most of our work is done on Linux. Unfortunately, well, our website did not reflect that. We're pretty busy helping our customers and neglected it for a long time. So, for our 20 years, we decided to do a quick revamp to show up-to-date content and make sure nobody thinks they traveled back in time when visiting our website.

During what could be seen as a few lifetimes in the IT world, many exciting technologies have transformed the way we work, and we are excited to see what the next 20 years hold for us.
